Rumors about Bear Grylls??

I watch Man VS Wild religiously. I love Bear Grylls and I can’t wait to see what adventure we’ll take next.
I got a phone call from someone saying that he was caught "cheating" – going to sleep in hotels, having food packed with him, etc. Is this true? I looked on his website, the discovery website and the local news website and seen nothing. Am I the only one that’s heard this??

"Bear" is slang for a gay man.
If you watch the show carefully you can see where it is faked…I read about the scandal in The daily Mail but wasnt surprised, my husband and I have often watched and laughed about things….shots of him struggling down deep ravines in the desert and then getting stuck in obviously placed fallen branches….it is obviously edited to hell.
